Joanne's original medium is clay, and all of her sculptures are originals, designed, and created by her to be one of a kind collectables. After she completes her work of art, in clay, Joanne finishes it to look like a Bronze. These can then be mounted on a finished base of black walnut or mahagony, or free standing, whichever the client wants.

Most of her clay art is by commission, either for trophies or for individual purchase. Many customers want her to do a sculpture of their individual dog, from a picture or design, to make it personal, or to capture their dog's special character.
